Peach

Peach is the ideal fruit for the summer. It is a cool, refreshing and low calorie fruit, so it is perfect for those who want to keep in line. It is the fruit of the peach tree, Prunus persica, coming from China, where it is considered a symbol of immortality. It contains a lot of water, minerals such as potassium and iron, vitamin C, pro-vitamin A and fiber, and its juicy pulp quenches thirst and helps to better withstand the heat and also helps to replenish the minerals lost with sweat.It is perfect as a mid-morning snack, as it provides a few sugar and it is also easy to digest and therefore also suitable for those who have problems of assimilation; but beware of eating it between meals as "mixed" in dairy products and carbohydrates can cause intestinal fermentation. It is also an excellent antioxidant, is slightly laxative and diuretic: it has vermifuge action as well. It is able to replenish the minerals, to stimulate the gastric juices and regulate blood pressure thanks to its content of potassium and manganese. Furthermore, holding the fluoride is good for strengthening teeth and bones, as well as protect the skin and eyes due to the presence of beta carotene.
